My name is Crystal Huff. I was the convention chair of Arisia 2011, Relaxacon 2011, Readercon 23, Readercon 24, and Readercon 25. I also co-chaired the first JOFcon with my friend Warren Buff.
I’m involved with Arisia, Readercon, Boskone, and several other conventions, to greater and lesser extents. I’m also heavily engaged in the bid to bring Worldcon to Helsinki in 2017. Oh, right, and I do volunteer work for Falconridge Folk Festival and Dance New England to a significant extent. It’s possible I’m a chronic volunteer.
Relatedly, I have strong opinions on how to treat people well, particularly volunteers. I spend a lot of professional and personal time and effort on organizational health.
